   Airport – Tirana

   Free day.

   Overnight in Tirana

   Tirana – Kruja – Rubik – Shkodra

   Visit:

   • the Castle of Kruja
   • National Museum Gjergj Kastrioti reveals insights into Skanderbeg’s life.
   • The Unique Ethnographic Museum (from outside, temporarily closed),
   • Visit the Old Bazaar

   Drive to Rubik.

   • Church of (Rubik) built in 1166

   Drive to Rragam.

   Eat late lunch at restaurant, traditional Albanian restaurant by the water with fish and meat menus. (Vegetarian option available. Vegan options are very limited and not recommended for a pleasurable experience.)

   Boat ride Shurdha island, head to Sarda

   Return to mainland. Drive to Shkodër.

   After breakfast visit

   Then continue to the Rozafa Castle

   Continue on to Shiroka, where you will have lunch and view the magnificent Lake of Shkodra. Visit Lake of Shkodra National Park,

   Theth – Koman – Valbonë

   Set off and drive towards the first dam Koman among the rugged mountains and green fields of Albania and sail with a ferry boat for about 2 hours for an unforgettable experience. Explore the remote north of Albania and take one of the world’s best boat trips with a cruise through the mountainous corridors of Lake Koman.

   Ferry disembarkation and a short drive to Bajram Curri Continuing the journey up to Valbona Valley alongside the river with the same name.

   Valbona Valley has spectacular waterfalls and endless forests. A natural wonder offers a rare sense of tranquillity and beauty.

   Visit the James Lake and the Old Mill of Valbona. Finish at 18.00 hrs and enjoy an evening filled with the inspirations of pure nature.

   Drive to Durres and

   • Roman Amphitheatre of Durrës built after the 2nd century B.C. remains one of the most majestic of the ancient world and one of the .
   • Visit Venetian Tower.

   Enjoy a relaxed evening on the Vollga promenade, by the seaside.
