Day 1 TIRANA

Pick up from Tirana International Airport or Durrës Port or any Hotel in Tirana and driving to the hotel. After check-in, free time. With all the participants that will arrive early, we discover Albania's capital city on a 3-hour walking tour with a local guide. See Tirana's disintegrating soviet-era buildings, modern-day building projects and proud historic monuments, all side-by-side. We will visit the National History Museum, Skanderbeg square, Et’hem Bey Mosque, Castle of Tirana,Tanner’s Bridge, Pyramid of Tirana, Blloku neighborhood, Dictator Hoxha Residence and even more.

Day 2 TIRANA-SHKODËR

After breakfast, driving to Shkodra, in the North-West of Albania. Arriving in Shkodra and visiting the Rozafa Castle, that has one of the most interesting yet disheartening legends of the country. Afterwards visit Marubi National Museum of Photography Marubi Museum has the most extensive and beautiful photographic collection in Albania arranged according to the subject and year the photograph was taken. The first one captured in 1858. Driving to Malësi e Madhe. Arriving and visiting an artisan cheese diary. Knowing the process of fermenting the cheese. Tasting the different sort of cheese. Only in this region we can taste spicy cheese called ‘Mishanika’ blended with herbs, garlic, prunes, etc. Also the yogurt from the goat milk is lovely. Lunch with the tradition dishes. A short tracking to the village. Driving back to Shkodra. Visiting the lake and the fish market. Free time. Dinner.

Day 3 SHKODËR-BERAT

Breakfast at the hotel. Driving to Berat. Short stops on the way. Lunch. Berat Castle. Visiting the castle. Berat Castle, also referred to as the Citadel of Berat and castle quarter, is a fortress overlooking the town of Berat. National Iconographic Museum Onufri Visit the "Onufri" Museum dedicated to Byzantine art and iconography, located inside the castle. Lead Mosque Berat. Visit the Lead Mosque, a 16th-century historical mosque. Cobo Winery- Driving to Kutalli. Visiting the ‘Cobo’ winery. Degustating the different sort of wines and spirits, walking in the grapeyard. Driving back to Berat. Dinner.

Day 4 BERAT-APOLLONIA-VLORA

Breakfast. Driving to Apollonia. Visiting the Apollonia Archaeological Park, contains artifacts unearthed nearby from the ancient town of Apollonia, flourished during the 4th century AD. Driving to Zvernec. Visiting the St. Mary's Monastery, a medieval Byzantine church in Zvërnec Island inside the Narta Lagoon close to Vlorë. Lunch. Driving to Vlora. Visiting the Independence Museum, that offers the most comprehensive information regarding the most culminating events in the history of Albania. Visit Kuzum Baba hill, where the Kuzum Baba Tekke, a Bektashi temple is located, and from where you enjoy a beautiful panoramic view. Driving to Kanina hill. Dinner.

Day 5 VLORA-SOUTH RIVIERA-SARANDA

Breakfast at the hotel. Driving to the Riviera. A coffee break to Llogara pass, in Llogara Park, that is an evergreen forested area, extending up to 1800 m high above the sea level. Driving down to Borsh. Visiting the Ali Pashe Tepelena castle in Porto Palermo. Driving to Borsh. 11.00 Visiting the ‘Borshi’ olive oil cantine. Driving to Saranda. Lunch. Driving to Butrint. Visiting the Butrint National Park, that is spectacular archaeological site and the National Park of Albania that occupies a beautiful and small peninsula. Driving to the mussels aquafarm. Visiting the process of breeding the mussels. Dinner.

Day 6 SARANDA- GJIROKASTRA

Breakfast. Driving to Blue Eye spring. Visiting the spring. This natural spring, of unknown depth, produces ice cold water even in the height of summer. Driving to Gjirokastra. Visiting the ‘Skenduli’ House. Ismail Kadare's House- The house of the world-famous Albanian writer, Ismail Kadare, has been turned into a museum Gjirokaster Castle - Visiting the castle. The castle dominates the town and overlooks the strategically important route along the river valley. Lunch. The Cold War Tunnel Visit the Cold war tunnel, the anti-atomic bunker, a communist era underground fortification.

Day 7 GJIROKASTËR- PËRMET-VOSKOPOJË

Breakfast in the hotel. Driving to Përmet. A short break at Këlcyra gorge. Visiting a cheese diary. Visiting a wine and raki cantine and degustating the drinks. Lunch. A medieval bridge stretches over a sulfur-rich river that leads to year-round natural hot springs - Benja Thermal Baths. Driving to Leskovik. Stop to Sotira Farm. Arriving at Voskopojë. Voskopoja was an important cultural center and well known for its churches with frescoes. Dinner.

Day 8 VOSKOPOJË - KORÇË - POGRADEC - ELBASAN - TIRANA

Breakfast. Driving to Korça. Visiting the The Bratko Museum of Oriental Art that contains around 450 objects representing 17 Eastern cultures of the world. Driving to Pogradec. Visiting Driloni National Park. Lunch. Driving to Elbasan. Visiting Elbasan castle,a 15th-century fortress in the city of Elbasan. Dinner. Driving to Tirana.

Day 9 TIRANA - LEZHË-KRUJË-TIRANA

Breakfast. Driving to Lezha. Visiting the ‘Mrizi i Zanave’ agro-tourism farm. Lunch. Driving to Kruja. Visiting Kruja Castle, Skanderbeg Museum, and Old Bazaar. Return to Tirana Dinner.

Day 10 TIRANA - AIRPORT

Airport transfer. End of services.
